Whether you’re working from home or home with kids, you’re probably increasing your use of electricity day-to-day. Here are 10 ways you can begin conserving your home’s energy use today:

  1. Reduce your thermostat. Decreasing the indoor temperature by one degree can decrease energy use by 3 – 5%.

  6. Turn computers and monitors off when not in use.
  7. Enable the auto power-down feature on gaming consoles.
  8. Unplug battery chargers and other cords when not needed.
  9. If you don’t unplug them, use energy-saving modes or automatic sleep function on electronics.
