Annual Meeting Reminder:

Butte Electric's Annual Meeting will be held at the Belle Fourche Rec Center on Tuesday, October 20th.  Our office will close at Noon to prepare for the Annual Meeting.  We will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, October 21st.

2027 Youth Tour

 

 

 

 

 June 17-23, 2027

  • Butte Electric will once again sponsor a high school (junior or senior) on an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. as part of the Rural Electric Youth Tour.  Throughout the week, participants will explore Washington, DC, learning about government, cooperative principles, and rural electrification.

  • Tour highlights include the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, US Capitol, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier among other historical and exciting sites.  

  • The weeklong tour will take place from June 17-23, 2027.

To be eligible:

  1. Must be a high school junior or senior
  2. Parents or guardian must be a member of Butte Electric
  3. Schedule your Interview with Angie or Cheyenne at Butte Electric (605) 456-2494.
     
Please include the following to be eligible.
  • Include (attach as a .jpg file) a recent headshot of yourself that Butte Electric can use in publications such as Cooperative Connections, our web-site and Facebook page.
