Electric Heat Pump Rebate

Butte Electric Cooperative offers a rebate program for members who install energy-efficient electric heat pumps. This initiative helps reduce energy costs while promoting sustainable heating and cooling solutions. Rebates are available for qualifying air-source and geothermal heat pumps that meet efficiency standards.

Electric Heat Pump Requirements

Rebate amount: $500 bill credit for heat pump with electric furnace backup. $250 bill credit for a heat pump/mini split and gas back up.

Requirements: To receive the rebate for the heat pump a DRU unit must be installed on the A/C unit with a minimum use requirement of two years.
