Director Election to be Held at Annual Meeting
Three directors will be elected to three-year terms on the Board of Directors at the 69th Annual Meeting to be held at the Belle Fourche Area Community Center on Friday, October 23, 2009.

Terms expiring will be Darrell Nicholas, Spearfish, District 1; Tom Brunner, Nisland, District 2; and Tom Casteel, Vale, District 3. To be a candidate, a member must reside in the district, and not be employed by or financially interested in a competing enterprise or a business selling electric energy or supplies to the Cooperative, or a business primarily engaged in selling electrical or plumbing appliances, fixtures or supplies to the members of the Cooperative.

There are two methods for being nominated. They are:

A petition signed by 15 or more members shall be filed at the principal office of the Cooperative not less than thirty (30) days before the Annual Meeting to place in nomination a candidate to fill a vacancy on the board of directors.

The chairman shall call for additional nominations from the floor and nominations shall not be closed until at least one minute during which no additional nomination has been made. No member may nominate more than one candidate.
